Coding and programming are not and cannot be for everybody. But deep down in my spirit, I am convinced that each person has a tech niche, tied to his or her Life's task and inner calling. Find it and dig in.

Fortune Felix, Team Lead, TEMA

By the year 2050, the disparity between the have's and the have's not, will be those who are literate and proficient in a couple of the core tech skills and those who are not. Today our scope of literacy goes beyond reading & writing to include a foundational knowledge of IT-related skills.

The idea is this, by the end of the next 2 decades, the illiterate won't be that person who can't read and write, but that person who lacks basic technological education, persons who lack the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use new digital systems and technology.

The train of progress is again pulling out of the station, and this will probably be the last train to leave the human station. Primarily because Artificial Intelligence and Computers, now possess cognitive abilities and even intuition(Fields which previously gave humans dominance over the world).

Those who miss this train, may never get a second chance. To get a sit on this train, you will need to understand 21st-century technology, in particular the power of computer algorithms and infotech.

TEMA is a technology start-up, well-equipped to empower you with proficiency in 21st-century technology, and train and retrain tech enthusiasts.

We help young individuals acquire digital and tech skills. We teach, coach, and provide resources that will take anyone with an interest in tech skills, like Front-End Development, Back-End Development, cybersecurity, graphics design, and data analysis from being an absolute beginner to industry-ready in 6 months.

This has become imperative, considering the high demand for persons proficient in IT-related skills, and the challenges in acquiring them, ranging from cost to lack of personnel/organizations with the technical know-how and expertise in Tech Education.

Our Methodology

First, we acknowledge that tech skills vary from their level of complexity, to their applications, and their technicalities, thus, while a person may find a skill quite easy, s/he may find another difficult and may not excel in it as they would a tech skill they are confident in. So our first approach at TEMA, is to guide individuals to discover the tech skill that best suits their personality, interest, individuality & strengths. We then encourage them, to acquire and pursue careers in such skills.

devices Beyond impacting the knowledge, we look for ways by which what they learn daily, can be applied in the most practical way. We also look for areas where such knowledge/skills are already in application and guide them around it.

cadenceConstant and consistent practice, because the bacon of any long-term knowledge and skill is the ability to remember and apply them in diverse ways.

Increase employability through a well-structured collaboration with recruitment firms and industries.

Training to be readily responsive & adaptable to changes in the fluid and ever-changing technology industry.

Inspire & motivate our techies not to rest on their laurels, but aspire and reach for tech excellence and innovation. Acquire as many tech skills as possible, create globally scalable products, and become reckoning forces in the tech industry.

Economically empower the individual by increasing employability.

OUR PROGRAMMES

FULL-STACK DEVELOPMENT

Full-stack developers are experts in both the frontend and backend. They are proficient in both frontend and backend languages and frameworks, as well as in server, network and hosting environments.

In this path, you'll take programming courses and learn to create complex server-side web applications that use relational databases to persistently store data. You’ll also build applications that can support any front end, and scale to support hundreds of thousands of users.

With the demand for web and mobile applications skyrocketing, full stack developers are in a prime position to capitalize on this trend. They have the ability to take a project from conception to deployment, making them highly sought after in the job market.

Front-end developers create websites and applications. Your Job scope entails bringing ideas and designs to fruition.
You'll learn how to code HTML, CSS, and Javascript through hands-on projects that require you to create user-friendly websites. Your capstone project requires you to create and publish your own fully functional website on GitHub.

As a prospective frontend engineer learning with TEMA, you’re equipped to build the front-end portion of websites and web applications; that is, the part that users see and interact with using web languages such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and React, Angular, Vue that allow users to access and interact with the site or app.

FRONT-END DEVELOPMENT

BACK-END DEVELOPMENT

Back-end developers are in charge of server management, security, and data storage, all of which help websites function efficiently.

You will then learn how to program in PHP, Laravel and use data management tools such as SQL. Using everything you've learned throughout the program, your capstone project will involve planning, developing, and delivering a fully functional back-end web application.

Back-end developers are the experts who build and maintain the mechanisms that process data and perform actions on websites using technologies like ExpresJS, NodeJS, PHP Laravel.

Graphic design is a creative discipline that combines art and technology to communicate ideas through visual content. It involves the use of typography, imagery, color, and layout to create visually compelling designs for various mediums such as print, digital, and multimedia. Graphic designers play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of brands, products, and messages.

Graphic designers work across a range of industries, including advertising, publishing, digital media, and corporate branding.
